Testing

DEALR’s testing SOPs. When you’re ready to send product for testing, select your representative sample. This sample should be selected at random from the entire batch you plan on sending our way. Your representative sample should be taken at the same time. Seperate them into three bags and label them as follows:

BAG ONE:

Moisture, THC & CBD: Send this sample to a Health Canada accredited lab of your choosing. That lab will have specifications on how large your sample should be. Your sample must:

  • result in a reading between 7-13% moisture
  • Be submitted for THC
  • Be submitted for CBD

BAG TWO:

Terpene Testing: Terpenes degrade over time, so send your sample for terps as soon as possible for the best and most accurate result. You may send Bag Two to a Health Canada accredited lab of your choosing, although DEALR recommends Phytochemia for their large library of terpenes. The lab you choose will have specifications on how large your sample should be.

BAG THREE:

Health Canada Screening Labs: Your third sample should contain 25g of product and is destined for one of the following Labs: Canvas Labs, Caro Labs, High North, MB Labs, Phytochemia, Valens Labs, BioScision Pharmacy Inc, Pathogenia, Innovate Phytoceuticals, Labstat Inc./Labs-Mart, Pura or Eurofins. Here you will submit it for tests 1-2, 4-6. These tests are as follows:

  1. Microbial
  2. Heavy Metals
  3. NOT APPLICABLE. Do not submit for this test as you have already done so through your lab of choice, above.
  4. Aflatoxins
  5. Pesticides
  6. Foreign Materials

When you’ve received all your labs…

Upload all of them together when you Submit A Lot (Step 03), above. If you have any questions about this process, please reach out as we are happy to help.
